I'm back at school a day earlier and for what? Not much apparently. I thought we'd be doing something fun tonight, but it seems that everyone is burnt out from the weekend's activities. Maybe I'll suggest watching some DVDs or playing Guitar Hero since we're apparently bumming tonight.
Tomorrow, I agreed to do a photoshoot with my friend Dani from Staten Island. I haven't seen that girl in fucking FOREVER, so I am REALLY stoked on it! The whole photoshoot thing is a little weird though, I'm not going to lie. I've taken pics of myself before but never had anyone else do it. Will be an interesting experience indeed... will post the photos if/when I get em!

all my friends have parties, ok? i think i'd know
In response to the question at the end of my last entry, apparently my entire family reads this blog. Thats cool guys. But honestly, it's kind of a relieving thing knowing that they all read about my life though the internet because writing in a journal is the most honest you can be. I have nothing to hide. They all see my drunk ass videos on youtube, anyway.
Speaking of drunk, CEOs and Office Hos was a TREMENDOUS success. Everyone got so trashed and a lot of ridiculous things happened because of that, including but not limited to: Alex chasing Brandon with a Swiffer (and subsequently smashing Brandon's cake with it), lots of people making out...will not name names.... lots of other kisses including yours truly, Natalia punching Brandon in the face and making him bleed/cry, my bed becoming soaking wet, Alex and I going on a random drunk expedition to Times Square, and Evan literally being unconscious when he is asleep. Willa and I tried for an entire hour to wake him up and I thought for a second he could be dead. But yeah, I had super fun and met a lot of new fun people and introduced my friends to one another. $120 of booze completely drained, though.
I was also told last night, whether it was in Times Square or in the cab ride home I can't remember, that I need to stop being such a bitter person. I'm not really sure what that means but it came from someone I care a lot about so I'm going to try to figure it out. People tell me I have attitude because I am from Long Island, but I've never actually been called bitter... maybe that I just hold out unnecessary aggression towards people? I DID say in a previous blog that I needed to become a nicer person....guess this is the final incentive towards step one.
But enough of that... now I am at home because I am having some sickly issues with my stomach. Earlier today, I literally thought I was dying or had to go to the hospital but I'm feeling a bit better now. I came home on the train with Willa before and I'm just sitting on my bed chilling until dinner is ready. For the record, the house REEKS of onion.

On whose authority? I have none over me
In a strange stroke of luck, Clara was buying a polaroid camera tonight and accidentally put two in her shopping cart, so she's giving me one of them! I'm kind of super stoked, since I'd been asking my mom for a while for her old one but it was so old that the film cost super mucho amounts. So happy Valentine's Day present to me I guess.
Speaking of Valentine's Day, I'm surprisingly down in the dumps about it. Life is so much easier when you buy those cheap cards from the drug store and stick candy on them for all of your classmates, secretly saving your favorite ones for your closest friends. No one feels left out on Valentine's Day in kindergarten.
I kind of want to go home again soon.
I've just finished bullshitting a paper on my thoughts concerning the History of the Peloponnesian War. Truthfully, I got through about fifteen pages before wanting to impale my eyes with sharp objects so I think it's best this way. My TA doesn't know I dislike the coursework greatly, I don't get penalized for not turning in work. Hoorah!
Here, have some pictures of the pretty snow yesterday:

I truly wonder if anyone secretly reads this......

And Dylan Moran's ass.
Last night was the free screening of Run, Fatboy, Run. I know it was released in the UK last year but they keep pushing it back here and thus the anticipation had been building. And I'm not going to lie...being an avid fan of Simon Pegg and all that he's previously done, I was kind of disappointed to see him in a cliché romantic comedy. There were some funny moments and I still find Simon devilishly handsome with that belly. But, the script was written by Michael Ian Black and Simon Pegg, and knowing THAT whilst seeing it pan out to be an unbelievable disaster (and hitting the bar way lower than either of their standards) was too much for me. Would I recommend seeing it? I suppose... I just know I'm not liking the mainstream direction that Pegg and his bunch are headed in (I'm dreading seeing him on screen with Kirsten Dunst). And David Schwimmer, who directed, pulled a Hitchcock towards the end of the film and handed Simon a beer. Go back to studying dinosaur bones, Ross Geller!

My grandma on my dad's side passed away last weekend. I was never as close with her as I am with G, my mom's mom and the epitome of my fave person on the planet ever. The saddest part for me was seeing my dad upset and crying. Her funeral was very intimate, was short and sweet and right at the burial site. I hugged my aunt and uncle for my dad even though I didn't want to. My grandma was never the same after my grandpa died, so now they can be happy together wherever they are in the afterlife.
On to less depressing and spiritual things... I bought myself an acoustic guitar yesterday! It's a beautiful Ibanez and I've decided to call it Machiavelli, just because he was always a kickass guy to me and I think his motto goes well with the process of learning to play an instrument: "The end justifies the means." Machiavelli cost me $240, plus an extra hundred for all the proper accessories and taxes. I need to buy a capo so I can play some songs on a higher scale, but that can wait I suppose. I've taught myself the chords to "Anyone Else But You" by The Moldy Peaches. Imma get good, just you wait n' see.
My suitemates and I decided this weekend we're going to have a little get together at our dorm called CEOs and Office Hos (title copyright Sarah Gehle 2008). Basically, we're going to dress up and dress down at the same time and combine the 9-5 dress code with a little nightlife sexy. I'm such a cornball honestly, I love themed parties and all that jazz. This may require a sexy new bra from Victoria's Secret, but I won't get ahead of myself.
But talk about a dream, I saw the Spice Girls on Wednesday night. Fucking unreal!! 8 year old me would've cried and then shit herself. I almost did as 19 year old me. It just upsets me that there were like...12 year old girls there who were probably 2 or 3 when the Spice Girls hit their prime. I bet they don't even remember the pain of when Ginger left....I do...she was my favorite.
Going to try to go to an advance screening of Run Fatboy Run tomorrow night at AMC Lincoln Center. A girl on my floor saw Simon Pegg two days ago at Chelsea Market and they talked on line. I've had some negative luck the past few days, let's hope it goes my way starting tomorrow!
